Struggling with Headaches in Marlton?

It has been estimated that prevalence among adults of a headache disorder (at least once within the last month) is about 50%. Up to 10% of the population has headaches on a daily basis. Among those individuals, 30% or more have reported migraine. (World Health Organization 2014)
Headache disorders in Marlton are among the most common disorders of the nervous system. Headaches can come from a number of primary headache disorders, including migraines, tension-type headaches, and cluster headaches. They can also be caused by or occur secondarily to a long list of other conditions, the most common of which is medication-overuse headache. (1)
WHAT ARE HEADACHE DISORDERS?
According to the ACA, research shows that spinal adjustments – one of the primary forms of care provided by doctors of chiropractic – is an effective treatment option for tension headaches and headaches that originate in the neck.
A 2014 report in the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics (JMPT) found that interventions commonly used in chiropractic care improved outcomes for the treatment of acute and chronic neck pain and increased benefit was shown in several instances where a multi-modal approach to neck pain had been used. Also, a 2011 JMPT study found that chiropractic care, including spinal adjustments, improves migraine and headaches that originate in the neck. (2)
